Mollis Airfield
1,800 metres of safety
Mollis Airfield is a former military airfield and, with a runway 1,800 metres long and 40 metres wide, offers a high level of safety for self-launchers. The Glarus Alps provide a spectacular backdrop. Mollis is easy and quick to reach from the greater Zurich area via the A3. From Netstal railway station, the airfield is ideally connected to Zurich main station in around one hour with trains every half hour. And once you are in the beautiful Glarnerland, it immediately feels like a holiday.
